d\u00e9pouill\u00e9es en ornementation, contrairement aux portes M\u00e9rinides (Chellah).<br \/>Le 1er quartier o\u00f9 s\u2019install\u00e8rent les Fran\u00e7ais au d\u00e9but du protectorat s\u2019ouvrait sur\u00a0<strong>Bab Alou<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cporte de la hauteur\u201d en arabe). On y retouvre encore de nos jours les traces de cette occupation qui en faisait un quartier tr\u00e8s anim\u00e9 et tr\u00e8s chic.<br \/>Tout \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9,<strong>\u00a0Bab El Had<\/strong>\u00a0a la particularit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre la seule porte encore utilis\u00e9e.<\/p><p><strong>Bab El K\u00e9bir<\/strong>, la magnifique porte des Oudayas a subi l\u2019outrage des hommes plus que du temps avant que Tranchant de Lunel ne lui redonne sa splendeur : il fit dispara\u00eetre badigeons et constructions parasites. Elle est d\u00e9sormais une salle d\u2019expositions d\u2019oeuvres d\u2019art et peut se visiter.<\/p><p><strong>Bab Rouah<\/strong>, surnomm\u00e9e par les Rbatis \u201cles 3 portes\u201d (en fait 4 d\u00e9sormais) : ce que les touristes press\u00e9s photographient souvent ce sont les trou\u00e9es qui n\u2019ont rien d\u2019almohade.
