place du cardinal Lavigerie) a \u00e9t\u00e9 inaugur\u00e9e en 1921 par le r\u00e9sident g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Lyautey. Elle est l\u2019oeuvre de Adrien Lafforgue \u00e0 qui l\u2019on doit aussi la Poste et la gare Rabat-ville ainsi que l\u2019ancien Palais de Justice (actuel Parlement). Elle ne poss\u00e9dait pas \u00e0 son origine les deux fl\u00e8ches que l\u2019on voit de loin dans Rabat, et qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9rig\u00e9es quelques ann\u00e9es plus tard en 1930.<\/p><p>Si l\u2019on excepte la chapelle Saint Fran\u00e7ois d\u2019Assise, qui n\u2019est pas ouverte au public, la cath\u00e9drale est le seul \u00e9difice religieux catholique de Rabat.\u00a0La cath\u00e9drale Saint Pierre jouxte la Wilaya de Rabat et sa superbe fa\u00e7ade de verre.\u00a0Avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du tramway, la place du Golan a retrouv\u00e9 une nouvelle jeunesse et son allure d\u2019antan.<\/p><p>Tout \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 se trouve une place autrefois c\u00e9l\u00e8bre : la place Pietri. Ne cherchez pas le nom de place Pietri sur les guides. Elle s\u2019appelle place Moulay Hassan, pourtant tous les Rbatis continuent de l\u2019appeler ainsi. C\u2019\u00e9tait le march\u00e9 aux fleurs permanent de Rabat. Sur ordre des autorit\u00e9s de Rabat et de la CDG qui a son si\u00e8ge social sur la place, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 ras\u00e9 par les Bulldozers. Ici, vous aviez une magnifique corbeille fleurie pour moins de 100 dirhams (10 euros) et un parfum de place de Paris. C\u2019est un des anciens sites de Rabat qui a disparu<\/p><p>Mais comme certains ont encore beaucoup d\u2019imagination, on a install\u00e9 sur cette ancienne place de Rabat, un ouvrage \u201c\u00e9difiant\u201d une canop\u00e9e g\u00e9ante destin\u00e9e \u00e0 procurer de l\u2019ombre ! Voir plus bas\u2026<\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 transplant\u00e9 sur un parking, \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Mohammed V, face au jardin du triangle de vue, le march\u00e9 est revenu sur ce qui reste de la place Pietri, au dessus d\u2019un centre commercial qui tarde \u00e0 trouver vie et d\u2019un parking souterrain pour les cadres du quartier. Seuls quelques kiosques subsistent, mais l\u2019\u00e2me de la place et de ses c\u00e9l\u00e8bres fleuristes a disparu en m\u00eame temps que les arbres : \u00e0 voir tout de m\u00eame car les bouquets restent magnifiques.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
